This Dufour 38 Classic has been delivered with the ''Grand Croisiere'' equipment package. Upon introduction the new range from Dufour has been an instant success. Providing performance under sail, beautiful accommodations and good woodwork joinery. ''Nid de Coucou'' has it all. Needless to say, she is in perfect condition throughout.

Dufour 38 Classic ''Nid de Coucou'', built in 1999 first launched in March 2000 by Dufour Yachts France, dim.: 11.98 (lwl 9.80 m) x 3.85 m x 1.90 m, J & J Design, headway approx. 16.20 m, CE category: A, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, round-bilged white hull with blue striping, fin keel, displacement approx. 6,55 tonnes, ballast approx. 2,1 tonnes (lead), fuel tank approx. 160 litres (polythene), fresh water tank approx. 1 x 180 litres + 1 x 160 litres (polythene), Whitlock wheel steering, emergency tiller.
Classic mahogany interior, saloon and two cabins and one big lockerroom, standing hight in the saloon approx. 1,85 m, 4 berths + 1 berth in the saloon, heads with shower and an under water toilet, galley with double sink and corian workingtops, crockery, electric water pressure system, hot water through boiler (engine/220V), ENO 2-burner gas stove with oven, 12V refrigerator (capacity 150 litres), forward double berth: length 2 m, aft one double berth: length 1.90 m, Webasto AT 5000 hot air heating system.
Volvo Penta MD 2040, 40 hp (29 kW) diesel engine, installed in 1999, (approx. 500 enginehours) indirect cooling system, Volvo Penta Saildrive, 2-bladed maxprop propeller, 1 x manual / 1 x electric bilge pumps, 12/220 Volt electrical system, 4x 105 Ah. batteries (2005), shore power, 25 amp automatic battery charger and invertor (both by Mastervolt and installed in 2004, Mastervolt battery monitor at charttable, extra alternator on engine.
Plastimo Ocean 135 compass, Raytheon ST 60 Tridata log and echosounder, Raytheon ST60 wind set, Shipmate RS 8300 VHF (with Atis), Autohelm ST 5000 autopilot, Raytheon ST 60 Multi, MLR GPS, ICS Nav 6 Navtex, Pioneer radio/CD player.
Sprayhood with extra stainless steel handgrip, wintercover by TD, Lowfrance electric windlass, Britany anchor with 30 m chain, boarding ladder, bathing platform, deck shower, full winter cover, fenders, warps, clock, barometer, cockpit table.
Sloop-rigged, Performance Spars aluminium 2-spreader mast, Facnor SD 180 headsail furling, stainless steel standing-rigging, two sails: full-battened mainsail, removable cutterstay and running backstays, sails: set of TD (racing sails): furling genua II, full-battened mainsail and high aspect (all 2001) original furling genoa II, mainsail, jib 17,5 m2 for removable cutterstay, stormjib 6 m2 for removable cutterstay and spinnaker 124 m2 de Vries Grouw, genua tracks are extended, cover for furling genoa and cover for mainsail, boomvang, 2 x Lewmar 44 ST sheet winches, 2 x Lewmar 30 ST halyard winches, Frederiksen deckgear, Goiot deckhatches, Navtec hydraulic backstayadjuster.
