Etap has a reputation to uphold in building well-constructed cruisingyachts since 1978. Always innovative in design and construction, the best known feature is the double scaled hull with foam core. This provides for a very stiff and safe (unsinkable) hull with the added bonus of good sound and temperature insulation. Furthermore this Etap 30 is good all-over performance yacht with excellent sea-keeping abilities. Nicely kept and priced at an attractive level.

GRP sailingyacht Etap 30 "Le Monde", built in 1990 (commissioned early 1991) by Etap Yachting, Belgium, dim.: 9,10 (lwl 7,65) x 3,15 x 1,45 mtr, design by Jac de Ridder, headway: approx. 14 mtr, grp hull, deck and superstructure (hull has a double scale/foam filled core), roundbilged hull, balanced spade rudder, fin keel, displacement: 3,6 tonnes, ballast: 1,38 tonnes (cast iron), fueltank: 46 ltrs (s.s), freshwatertank: 100 ltrs (s.s.), tiller steering.
Classic mahogany interior, 1 cabin and saloon, 3(+2) berths, 1 x u.w.toilet, headroom: 1,85 mtr, galley; electric waterpressure system, boyler hot water system (220v), Plastimo two burner gasstove with oven and grill (no thermal cut-out), Frigomatic 12v fridge.
Volvo Penta 2002 18 hp (13kW) diesel, installed in 1991, direct coolingsystem, Volvo Penta Saildrive (seal to be renewed), two bladed fixed propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 5,5 kn, consumption approx. 2 ltr/hr, manual bilgepump, 12/220v electrical system, two batteries, shorepower (no cable), Mastervolt 12/25amp automatic batterycharger.
Plastimo compass (to be serviced), Stowa Dataline log, echosounder and windset, Stowe AP60 autopilot.
Sprayhood, Bimini top sun awning, Danforth anchor and line, fire extinguisher, boardingladder, fenders, warps, clock, barometer, vacuumcleaner, lifebuoy, cockpit table, radar reflector, etc.
Sloop-rigged, Seldén aluminium mast, s.s. standing rigging, Plastimo headsailfurling, 3 sails: semi-battened main (Lion Sails 2003) / furling genoa / furling genoa III (Gaastra), slabreefing for main and Lazy Jacks, all halyards lead aft into cockpit for ease of handling, rodkicker boomvang, backstayadjuster, 2 x Lewmar 30AST sheetwinches, 2 x Lewmar 16A halyard winches, spi-pole.
