Well balanced and known design by H.F. van der Rest. Through her sturdy construction, ease of handling and large deep cockpit, the Piewiet 1000 is very much suitable for in- and offshore family cruising. Two large seperate cabins together with the u-shaped settee, provide for ample room for longer stays onboard.

GRP sailingyacht Piewiet 1000 "Rikjana", built in 1995 by Van de Rest Nautic, Netherlands, dim.: 10.00 (lwl 7.70) x 3.25 x 1.65 mtr, design by H.F. van der Rest, mastheight approx. 14 mtr, grp hull, deck and superstructure, perspex windows, roundbilged hull, semi balanced skeg hung rudder, fin keel, displacement: 6 tonnes, ballast: 2 tonnes, fueltank: 100 ltrs (s.s.), freshwatertank: 370 ltrs (grp), mechanical wheel steering.

Classic teak accommodations, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, headroom: 1.90 mtr, dinette, 220v electric heater, 1 x u.w.toilet and shower, galley; electric waterpressure system, Coolmatic 12v fridge, Plastimo stainless steel two burner gasstove with oven, hot water boyler on engine/220v, ample stowagespace. Her interior was specially fitted out with more woodwork and wood trim than standard on these yachts.

Yanmar 2GM20 18 hp (13kW) diesel, installed in 1995, indirect cooling system, mechanical gearbox, s.s. propellershaft, two bladed fixed propeller, cruisingspeed appox. 6 kn, consumption approx. 2 ltr/hr, electric bilgepump, 12/220v electrical system, 2 batteries, shorepower, batterycharger.
