Comfortable, safe and reliable and very pleasant to look at, this design immediately appealed to the Rassy yard. This 38 comes well equipped on the market, included new sails and a Volvo D2-55 diesel engine of 2003.

GRP sailing yacht Hallberg Rassy 38 "Frasse", built in 1979 by Hallberg Rassy Varv in Sweden, hull number: 42, design by Olle Enderlein, dim.: Loa 11.57 m (Lwl 9.50 m) x 3.48 m x 1.75 m, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, preventive osmosis treatment (1999), moderate S-bilged hull, fin keel, rudder with skeg, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing. Displacement: approx. 8.5 tonnes, ballast: approx. 3.7 tonnes, fuel tanks: approx. 1x 250 + 1x 100 litres, fresh water tank: approx. 400 litres, mechanical wheel steering, emergency tiller.

Classic mahogany interior, saloon + front and aft cabin, 5 (+2 in saloon) berths, headroom: approx. 1.95 m., new carpet (June 2010), Webasto HL300341 diesel heating (must be checked), upholstery aft cabin renewed (2002), stereo with CD player. Marine head: washbowl, shower and manual under water toilet. Electrical water pressure system, hot water trough boiler (runs on 220V + engine). Galley with double stainless steel sink, Waeco fridge 12V (1996), two burner gas stove with oven - thermal saved.

Volvo Penta D2-55: 55 hp diesel engine (2003), intercooling system, mechanical gearbox (MS25L), three bladed bronze propeller, propeller shaft of stainless steel - water lubricated (renewed in 2003). Electric circuit: 12V/220V, batteries: 3x 120 amp. (2003) + 1x 145 amp. (2005), shore power with earth leakage breaker, Mastervolt battery charger/invertor: combi Dakar + Masterlink. Fire extinguisher, 1x manual + 1x electric bilge pump (Johnson - 1996), sea valves replaced (1999).

Sestrel compass, VDO echo sounder, VDO log, VDO wind set, Shipmate RS8300 VHF with Atis, Raytheon R20X radar, Cetrek autopilot, Garmin 128 GPS (2001) + Garmin 72 handheld, Lokata Navtex 1, Icom-718 SSB receiver.

Fixed windscreen, sprayhood (2002), cockpit cover, cockpit table, cockpit cushions, spray sails, winter cover (old, but usable), Plastimo 6 persons life raft (must be inspected in 2009), safety buoy, safety lines on deck, Almex DG40 electric anchor windlass, CQR anchor with approx. 50 m. chain (new chain), boarding ladder (stainless steel/teak), two wired sea railing of stainless steel, deck shower (hot + cold water), warps and fenders, clock and barometer, radar reflector.
