Wauquiez Centurion 59, built in 1992 by Henry Wauquiez in France, Hull No. 6, designed by Ed Dubois and Henry Wauquiez, LOA 18.00m (59'), LWL 14.12m (46'3), beam 5.05m (16'6), draft 2.30m (7'5), GRP hull and superstructure, teak laid decks (new caulking 2006, new teak deck in cockpit 2007), white round-bilged hull with light blue striping, fin keel, 5 Vetus stainless steel dorades, 10 Goyot opening deck hatches, 4 Goyot opening portholes, 3 fixed aluminium frames windows on each side of superstructure, large sliding Goyot deck hatch forward, displacement approx. 25 tons, ballast approx. 8 tons in lead keel, fuel capacity approx. 460 litres (101 Imp gallons) in two stainless steel tanks with fuel level meter, water capacity approx. 800 litres (176 Imp gallons) in 6 individual tanks, cable wheel steering on a custom pedestal, emergency tiller.

Classic teak interior, light Alcantara headlinings, blue Alcantara upholstery, headroom average 2.00m (6'6) in the saloon and 1.90m (6'2) in cabins. Yearly interior varnishing ensures immaculate condition. Accommodation for eight persons in four double cabins. Two double cabins aft, double bedded cabin to portside and double bedded cabin to starboardside, each cabin with vanity table, seat and mirror. Two double bedded cabins forward, double bedded cabin to portside and upper and lower bedded cabin to starboardside. All cabins with ensuite wc/showerroom, 4 electric toilets. All cabins with overhead opening deckhatch, fixed window for light and ample storage in drawers and lockers. Large chain locker forward also accessed from inside, double bedded crew cabin with access via large sliding deck hatch (at present used for sail storage, also accessible via watertight aluminium door). Main saloon with large U-shaped sofa seating 6 persons around a large table to port, and an L-shaped sofa to starboard. Ample storage behind sofas. Passageway to port to the aft cabin with access to engineroom and separate generator room. Forward facing on the portside admiralty size chart table. To starboard full size galley with Corian worktops, double stainless steel sinks, fridge and freezer driven by Frigoboat 24v water-cooled compressors, separate 24v compressor in fridge, 4-burner gas stove with hotplate (toaster) and oven, Moulinex 230v microwave. Water pressure system, seawater and freshwater pumps.

Volvo TAMD 31 4 cylinder 110 hp turbo diesel, 800 engine hours (5.07), maximum speed approx. 9 knots, indirect cooling system, mechanical gearbox, engineroom ventilator, water separation filter, stainless steel propeller shaft, Gori 3-bladed propeller. Engine controls for revs, temperature, oil pressure and hours, fuel tank indicator, two electric bilge pumps, one manual bilge pump in cockpit. 12/24/230v electric circuits, Fisher Panda 8 kw generator (1998) in soundshield box, 400 engine hours (5.07), 4x 140 ah service batteries, 2x 100 ah service batteries making 380 AH 24 volt serevice bank batterie power, (2 batteries are maintenance free new 2006), 2 x 12 volt 100 AH making 200 AH engine start batteries, 1 x 12 volt 88 ah generator batterie, Mastervolt 100 amp battery charger (new 2006), Shark 12v battery charger, shore power with Hubbel water resistant plug. The generator was completely rebuilt by Fisher Panda in 2003 including new cooling pump, new electrical parts, new soundshield box and new paint finish.

Henry Wauquiez custom made C-Plath magnetic pedestal compass, B&G depthsounder, log, speed and windset (new 2005), Com Nav Marine autopilot (with inside and outside controls), Furuno GP31, Koden 32 nm radar (2005), ICOM IC M55 VHF with remote control in cockpit, Lowe HF-150 SSB receiver, ICOM IC M700 SSB receiver/transmitter, B&G Hydra 2000 echosounder (2002), KVH Tracphone 25 Inmarsat Mini M satellite telephone, Furuno weatherfax, Navtex receiving DWD broadcasts.

Collapsable bimini/sun awning for forward cockpit, large sun awning (2006) covering part of cabin and both cockpits, teak grating floor in forward cockpit doubling as cockpit table, cockpit cushions for main and aft cockpits, electric hydraulic opening transom doubling as bathing platform complete with boarding ladder and shower, Quicksilver dinghy with Mariner 5.5 hp outboard, Plastimo 8-person liferaft (2003), two fire extinguishers, two anchors with approx. 75m high grade stainless steel chain, Maxwell 3500 electric hydraulic capstan with rope and chain roller both up and down, steering wheel cover, instruments cover, winch covers, several fenders, spare parts, searailing with opening port and starboard.

Sloop rig, Mare-chal white painted aluminium 3-spreader keel-stepped mast, rod rigging, Harken ball bearing cars for all tracks including mainsheet track and inner foresail tracks, Harken fittings for all running gear, Navtec hydraulic backstay adjuster (new 2005), boomvang and babystay tensioner with central pump on steering pedestal, Profurl manual furling headsailsystems for cutter and genoa (new 2006), Leisure Furl electric in-boom system for mainsail (new 2005), improved new gearbox for the reefing system of the main (new 2006), spinnaker boom (stored against mast). Winches: 2x Harken 56 2-speed ST halyard winches on either side of the mast, 2x Harken 64-2 2-speed electric hydraulic self-tailing primary sheet winches, 2x Harken 56-2 2-speed self-tailing secondary sheet winches, 3x Harken/Barbarossa 56-2 2-speed self-tailing mainsheet winches for traveller and mainsheet, all winches and tracks in perfect working condition and overhauled completely in 2006. All North sails: fully battened mainsail (2004), genoa (2004), cutterjib (2006), stormjib (2002), trisail (2002), asymetrical spinnaker (2004) with snuffer. I=23.5m, P=21.4m, J= 6.9m, E= 6.8m. In 2005 the mast and spinnaker boom were completely stripped and repainted in Awlgrip, all rigging was carefully checked and substantially renewed, e.g. new Kevlar backstays, headstays, backstay etc. Work carried out by reputable rigging company.
