Sturdy British built offshore cruisingyacht with lots of possibilities. Spacious 3 cabin layout. Most of her equipment, both navigational and cruising, is in not properly working order and therefore to be repaired or replaced. Priced to sell and to be sold "as is".

General
GRP sailingyacht Moody 425. built in 1989 by Marine Projects Ltd. England, dim.: 12,70 (lwl 10,44) x 4,07 x 1,83 mtrs, design by Bill Dixon, Lloyds hull construction, grp hull, deck and superstructure, windows in aluminium framing, roundbilged hull, fin keel, balanced spade rudder with small skeg, displacement: 9,9 tonnes, ballast: 3,8 tonnes (cast iron), fueltank: 273 ltrs (steel), freshwatertank: 409 ltrs (alloy), no sumptank, Whitlock mechanical wheelsteering. Teak in cockpit and aftdeck to be replaced.

Classic teak interior, 3 cabins and saloon, 6(+2) berths (aftcabin with base-slats), 2 x uw-toilets, 2 x shower with drainpump, headroom: 1,95 mtr, Webasto diesel ducted central heating system, galley: electric waterpressure system, boiler hot water system (220v), Plastimo two burner gasstove with grill and oven, Waeco 12v toploading fridge. Interior needs cosmetic overhaul.

Thornycroft T98/110 50 hp (36kW) diesel, installed in 1989, indirect coolingsystem, approx. 3000 runninghours, mechanical gearbox, s.s. propellershaft, two bladed fixed pitch propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 7 knots, consumption approx. 4 ltr/hr, manual/electric bilgepumps, 12/220v electrical system, startbattery ('09) / service batteries to be replaced, shorepower, Victron 25 amp batterycharger.

Plastimo pedestal compass, Simrad log, echosounder and windset, JRC 2000 radar, Raytheon ST7000 autopilot, Furuno GP-32 GPS with navdata repeater, ICS Navtex receiver. (most of nav equipment not functioning).

Sprahood, liferaft, fenders, lines, manual windlass, CQR anchor and chain, boardingladder, bathing platform, cockpit table, cockpit cushions, Plastimo liferaft 6 persons (inspection valid till 2002).

Sloop-rigged, Seldén aluminium double spreader stoway mast, s.s. standing rigging, Furlex genoa furler (defect), 5 sails: furling main (+spare) / furling genoa / stormjib (not furling) / booster with squeezer, mechanical boomvang and backstayadjuster, 2 x Lewmar 52CST sheetwinches, 30/40C halyardwinches, spi-pole.
