Dick Koopmans, the most acknowledged yacht designer from the Netherlands designed all his designs from first hand experience.
Spacious, shallow draft, "Old Jem" combines it all with her hydraulic centerboard keel (1,35/2,20 m) and cutter rig, providing lots of cruising possibilities. Very well thought interior-layout what makes her perfect for longer sailing passages.

Built in 1987 by Jachtbouw P. Valk in Franeker - Holland, design by Dick Koopmans.

Aluminium hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck.
Windows in aluminium framing, two dorades on superstructure, two prismas on deck.
Round bilged hull, centerboard keel - hydraulic.
Fuel tank capacity: approx. 500 litres - Wema fuel level indicator.
Fresh water capacity: approx. 500 litres - Wema fresh water level indicator.
Displacement: approx. 11 tonnes.
Ballast: approx. 5 tonnes.
Mechanical wheel steering outside, hydraulic wheel steering inside.
