GRP sailing yacht Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 40 "Vito Nova", built in 2002 by Chantiers Wauquiez - France, hull number: 40040, Berret/Racoupeau Yacht Design, CE: Cat. A, dim.: Loa 12,70 m (Lwl 11,00 m) x 4,04 m x 2,00 m, headway: approx. 17,80 m. Solid GRP hull with polyester & vynilester resins and built in structural ribs/stringers, interior bulkheads glassed to the hull and deck, composite rudder post. Rudder replaced in 2007 by the latest version. Preventive osmosis treatment. Balsa sandwich deck, bonded to the hull with polyurethane adhesive and with mechanical fastening moulded ceiling liners with padded slats for a better insulation and easy maintenance. Teak side decks, cockpit floor and seats. Round bilged hull, two ventilation dorade boxes, three opening portholes, two fixed hull portholes, two opening portholes in cockpit for aft cabin cross ventilation, six opening deck hatches, sun screens.
